Lawn Mower Wheels
Changing the lawn mower wheels is different than changing the wheels on a car. At some point you will have to change the wheels on your lawn mower due to age or damage that is done to them. In most cases the wheels on a lawn mower are plastic and therefore can’t get leaks like most other types of wheels. Changing the wheels on a lawn mower is an easy process. As long as you have some basic tools then you will be able to change the wheels.
Start by propping the mower up on something small like a brick and loosening the nuts and bolts on the wheel that you’re replacing. This will ensure that there is no pressure on the wheel. If you’re having trouble loosening them then try using some type of lubricant such as WD-40 to help you loosen them. Note that you should be wearing gloves on your hands to help protect them. Next you can pull off the wheel and replace it. Be sure to lube up the nuts and bolts if you didn’t have to when you were taking it off. This will ensure that you will have an easy time removing the lawn mower wheels the next time they need replacing.
